Aki Sushi in Yucca Valley

Food was good...however they were advertising specials and said we couldn't take them to go only for dinning in, but wouldn't let people dine in! If its the restaurant that'sStopping you from dinning in they should allow the customer to take the special or remove it.

Only have been here twice and their rolls are amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for good sushi. I don't think their prices are bad either. Their rolls are a good decent size and their ramen bowls are huge and taste so good!

Definitely great sushi, 96% of what I order is better than most of what I grew up with in lala land. These guys don't know how to deep fry rolls though. 2 times I ordered full tuna rolls and they overcook the rolls by more than a minute, rendering the sushi, into tuna steak. I have not complained tho. I appreciate fresh well prepared sushi in the desert! Decent prices, decent portions, and it's pretty standard. Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure that the fish is from Santa Monica Seafood delivered 3 times a week!

Always open, it seems, consistent, good service, I tend to always get the same things so can't speak to all of it but really good for the price. My only complaint is that they use a LOT of sugar in just about everything (the people over eaten with have said the same thing). The seaweed salad was inedible for me.

Nice surprise- really good quality sushi so far out in the desert. The rolls are just beautiful. Were pretty picky about good sushi and this place does not disappoint!

Their sushi has always been fresh and service is often prompt. They have a great in-house menu where you can order half rolls for an awesome price! Nice atmosphere, too. It's a nice place for a date night or even to grab a meal on the go. Delicious & good prices!

We like aki ki 😁 we got veggie ramen this time. Wish it had mushrooms, broccoli, carrot. N9t enough veggies.

Excellent sushi, wonderful staff and a clean nice environment.Every sushi roll we got was excellent crafted but the winner was definer the Viking roll. Came out flaming, had lemon slices between pieces to add some extra zest and was decadent with every bite.The ramen is pretty good, not quite Japan quality but pretty good for where it is.

You know I think I love this place. Quality sushi in the desert. Who would have thought? Plus ALL day EVERYDAY 1/2 roll specials (Dine in ONLY). Pieces almost bigger than my mouth but I got them to fit This is the Ninja roll with tempura eel, jalapeno crab over cucumber, tempura shrimp and crab. Stop drooling and go try it. Over 30 choices under $7

This is not an authentic Japanese establishment. Lacks polish. The yellow tail sushi was good, the abalone, not. The prices are not high. I give 3 stars because if you want a really good sushi experience, this isn't the place... If you're not fussy and you like cheap eats, then you'll probably like it here.

This place is fantastic and spacious, the food was delicious and the rates were very economical. quick, efficient service and very welcoming staff members. I highly recommend this place.

The best sushi restaurant in yucca valley, Aki Sushi offers of plenty of options for any Sushi aficionado or the casual dinner who only wants a vegetable roll. Aki Sushi offers salmon, shrimp, lobster, calamari, California rolls to name a few. With delivery, take out, and dine in sushi is always an option. The restuarant also boast plenty of space for your group at lunch or at dinner.

Always like going here. Relatively good sushi for a good price. Service is always speedy and friendly and the atmosphere is quiet and I love the semi open plan of the room with private tables in the back. I usually get the gyoza and the bento box, and my husband gets all the sushi he wants. We dont ever really spend more than $100.00, if that.

every time i come here I have no complaints.. even on a Saturday night and it was crazy busy... but we were still served well. i give 5 stars

The best sushi spot in town by far. Mainly due to their more affordable prices. Can't go wrong with the huge portion of popcorn lobster roll!!!

I like the idea to order half rolls. Staff was great, Sushi came quick. We had a lot rolls All good. Our favourite were Salmon love roll, Philadelphia roll and Sakura roll. They were really the best.

They are a hit or miss in my opinion. Been here a few times and it all depends on the chef and your server. The servers are usually rude and the chefs are either in a bad mood and don’t want to be there or they are happy and on point with their rolls. They will often bring you the wrong roll and then taken it to the right table regardless if you touched the plate or not! The last time I went an hour before closing and every person working was tucked away in a corner whispering to one another in a different language while looking right at you! They were ignoring their customers making guests feel unwelcome. Like I said it’s a hit or miss Should be called bi-polar sushi. The food is ok for a desert sushi restaurant but don’t expect too much.

Got the korean bbq short ribs finally after wanting to try them so badly. Smelled so good from the box and tasted amazing. Will definitely get these again. I also got the double salmon roll but I ate that so fast that I forgot to take a pic.

This was a quick stop for lunch on our way to Joshua Tree and it was delicious. They had a vide selection of rolls and some awesome appetizers.

Okay, I really like this place especially the half roll option they offer. The food here is always fresh and looks fantastic. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and courteous. They have a decent selection of domestic and Japanese beers as well as sale. The wine selection is pretty limited but I'm not a wine drinker so it doesnt bother me. The only reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the food comes out way too far apart. The sushi and rolls come out quick but if you get anything from the kitchen be ready for a wait. I was blown away at how long it took a bowl of Udon to come out. It was nice and fresh but still a long wait for it. Other than that, this place is awesome and we will continue to come back here.

Their Golden Ahi sushi roll was really good! The fish was as fresh as you can get for the desert. Great texture and consistency. It was surprisingly good. The sushi rolls were also a decent size. If you're undecided about which sushi roll to get, you can order half orders so you can try different ones.

Really nice restaurant. Very clear. Very authentic feeling. There's a good bar to sit at to watch your sushi being cheffed. There is a dinning area with waitress service. Wait to be seated by very friendly and helpful service. Plates of food look large with very reasonable prices!

Great atmosphere for a lower cost sushi option. Food is really tasty. Had to REQUEST ginger and wasabi when sushi served. Waiter not quite with it.

The food here is delicious. There are lots of different things to choose from. The teriyaki salmon is out of this world..

This place was great, we had a good experience here. They had a very big menu lots of sushi to try and half orders as well. The staff was welcoming. Everything was very well kept up and clean. I recommend this place to take your family out to.

Great choice of sushi really good had a sushi picnic in our truck thanks to civid-19 they also have a few good Japanese beers

This is our favorite Sushi bar! We come here a couple of times a month!

We ordered the tonkutso ramen but the broth its like water, no taste 😩, and an extra egg but its only 2 half egg.. we always ordered the same ramen everytime we went there and they always gave us 2 half egg so the extra egg is nothing still the same 2 half egg.( take out)

Every time I come here, I am amazed at the talent of the chef! Service is outstanding, servers are friendly and knowledgeable. 50% off on alcolholic beverages is also great. You can't go wrong with dinner or lunch at this place!
